Ministries at Wise Baptist Church

Here at Wise Baptist we are focused on being a dynamic force in our community, both locally and globally. For us, that means starting at home and offering the kinds of ministries that actively reach people in service and fellowship. Below we've listed our current recurring ministries. Please feel free to join us in any way you can.

Sunday School - we offer Sunday School for all ages, nursery through adult, beginning at 10:00 am on Sunday mornings.

Worship - we offer a "blended" style of worship at 11:00 am on Sunday mornings. We also have special worship services for Holy Week, Advent, and Christmas.

Mid-Week - On Wednesdays, we serve dinner at 6:00 pm in the fellowship hall. Following dinner, we have Bible study programs and small group studies for all ages. A nursery is provided.

Women's Missionary Union (WMU) We meet on second Thursday of the month at 12:00 for lunch and program.

We are women from Wise Baptist Church making a difference through the love of Jesus Christ. We are dedicated to support Missionaries in our Country and around the world who are reaching the lives of women, children and families, who need to know the love of God through our good works and actions.

Our Goals:

  • Build strong relationships with women to give encouragement and love to share the love of Christ and make him known in their lives.

  • We pray for the sick and discouraged through the Word of God. We offer hope and love to meet the needs of families to show the love of God to our community.

  • We support our Church, Ministers and Church Leaders with prayer and financial means to do Gods work. We want to strengthen Christian families in our community, country and world.

  • We need more Women to join us to help make a difference in our community and world!

Youth - Young people grades 7-12 are encouraged to participate in our youth program. Our youth meet twice weekly - Wednesday night following dinner and on Sundays from 6-7:30 for food, fun, fellowship, and Bible study. We have special activities throughout the year which include retreats, lock-ins, movie night, pool parties, service projects in the community, summer youth camp, and mission trips to various locations.

Music - The music ministry of WBC is very active and there is a group for everyone!

Sanctuary Choir - this group rehearses on Wednesdays and leads in worship every Sunday. They provide special music for special occasions as well.

TRUTH - is our contemporary praise band made up mostly of our youth. They rehearse on Sunday evenings and provide special music for worship.

Jubilation Ringers - this is our 3 octave hand bell choir. They rehearse on Sunday afternoons and they provide special music for worship.

Children's Choir - We have three children's choirs: 2-3 year olds, K-3rd grade, and 4th-7th grade. The choirs meet on Monday afternoons from 3:45-5. They perform in worship and they also present special seasonal music for the congregation.

Ladies Bible Study - We have a ladies Bible study group that meets on the first Tuesday of every month.

College and Career class - this group is led by Daniel and Tabitha Ray. They have Bible study on Sunday mornings at 10:00 am and they also plan fun outings through the year including weekend shopping outings, bowling, hikes and swimming outings, movie nights, sports events parties, and the like.
