A Night of Inspiration & Training:

Thursday, September 20, 6pm at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Big Stone Gap. A Operation Christmas Child recipient from the Ukraine will be speaking.

FALL CLEAN -UP DAY:

Weekend Mission Trip Opportunity:

October 5-7, Bryon Burton will be taking a group of folks to West Virginia to help with disaster relief work. Contact Bryon if you are interested.

Wise Baptist Association WMU Meeting:

The 2018 Fall Meeting is scheduled for Sunday, September 30 at 3pm at St. Paul Baptist Church.

MEN'S BIBLE STUDY:

Join us for a morning Bible Study every other Tuesday in the Fellowship Hall from 6:30-7:30am. Bring your breakfast & your Bible! Next meeting is Oct. 9.

YOUTH 5th Quarter Lock-In:

Grades 7-12 gathering at the Youth Building after the Sept. 28 football game for fun, food & a lock-in. Contact Bryon Burton for more information.

Wednesday Evening Activites:

Join us each Wednesday night for fellowship, food & Bible study! Our Fellowship Meal ($6/adults, $5/children) begins at 6pm, followed by small group Bible studies at 7pm, Children in Action at 7pm and choir rehearsal at 7:50pm.

ITEM OF THE MONTH for Operation Christmas Child :

Each month there will be boxes available in the church foyer & in the hall to collect items for shoeboxes all through the year. The item for the month of SEPTEMBER is games.

HOLY COMMUNION:

We will observe Holy Communion on Sunday, October 7 during our 11am service.

DEACONS' MEETING:

Sunday, October 7 at 8:30am

CHILDREN IN ACTION:

Children Grades K-6, join us for our Wednesday night missions program at 7pm each week!

Sunday School:

We encourage you to get involved in Sunday School at 10am on Sunday mornings. There are classes for all ages. This is a wonderful opportunity to deepen your faith and to connect with others in a more personal way.

Church Library:

Be sure to visit our Church Library. There are many ready available resources at your disposal. We have Christian fiction, novels, devotionals, Bible translations and much more.

Let's Help-Grab N Go Ministry:

Food items are needed for the Department of Social Services Adult Protective Services. The food items help bridge the gap at the end of the month. Food items needed are: Crackers, peanut butter, vienna sausage, beanie weenies, pork n beans, canned vegetables/fruit, pudding cups, jello, granola bars, pop tarts, powdered milk, instant potatoes, oatmeal/cereal, soups/chili/beef stew, canned meats, coffee/juice/soda, mac n cheese(with liquid cheese), canned pasta, ramen noodles, spaghetti noodles/sauce, oil, pancake mix/syrup, rice, ensure, dried fruits, chips, any other non-perishable items. Other items such as: lotions, soap, body wash, shampoo, deodorant, shaving cream, razors, toothbrush/paste, denture cleaner/paste, brush/comb, socks, wash clothes, towels, dish towels, pot holders, gloves, scarves, knit hats, puzzle books, ink pens, note pads, toilet paper, dish liquid, laundry detergent, trash bags, throws/fleece blankets. Our church has made this ministry, Grab N Go, our year round mission. These items can be placed in the white baskets in the hall year round.
